Students’ journey through math does not have to be rigid and linear. Instead it can flow in many directions depending on many different factors. Having a freer classroom structure allows for more flexibility, student engagement, and ultimately more interest in the subject. We’ll look at some models of how this type of environment can be achieved and speak with other practitioners who will share their implementation ideas.
